Resets I really dont pay attention to. Im just not a reset person, but I was on when the Rooks won the reset.  The main problem was everyone was so intent on getting fields from the Bishes they left the Rooks free to go unmolested in the Northwest area.

It has happened before, it'll happen again.

Just my observation.
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Zero, I'll tell you the same thing I told GoFigure

They pay to play, and they can do whatever they want, despite what you or any other desktop general yell at them.   :)

Sure, wouldn't it be great if they teamed up with us to nab a reset?  Sure it would.  But you can't browbeat them for not playing the game as you want them too.

For 4 days, we've been duking it out at A9/A10 on that stinking map!  Did it finally get reset?

Only reason I wanted the reset SO bad is becuase the map was getting old. Now that we are off of it im happy. When we were getting beat by the rooks i was thinking that everything would change and we would be back at the start AGIAN. I i dont know what these peoples problem is but from a few people this is what ruined AW (from what i hear) who cares if some one whines once in a while, I can understand if they did it 24/7 but this is the first time I have posted a "whine" on the BBS and there is no reason for people to be jerks about stuff. go play quake or something, you can go make fun of people there. heck they will make fun of you back. I'm sure I will get flamed for this BUT I just hope you know this is the internet. but anyways i'm fine now thnx for the REAL postest about what I asked.
thnx

Animal ruined AW, he’s a real jerk that play’s quake all the time.

I didn’t think you leaving the MA and posting about it was a whine, heck I just mimicked what Animal started and junk. Geez whiz.

Don't sweat it ZP, just last week the Rooks handed the Knights a reset in exactly the same fashion.  Rooks were ahead and didn't pay attetion to the Knights on the other side of the map and the Knights got the reset.

IMHO, I'd much rather see some smashmouth slobberknockin country fights happenin than the oh so common "path of least resistance" approach, but that will never change as long as the majority of folks are less than interested in teamwork.  The "Quake" approach to AH and the "Strategic" approach to AH will forever work against each other in the MA.  I'd suggest going to the CT, otherwise you pretty much stuck with what ya got.

Get over it or you will go MAD!!

You pay to enjoy yourself, as do the rest of us.  If i want to go fight rooks at 33 instead of fighting bish at A11, I will do it.

Last night I saw a mass of knights probably 25+ attacking a bish sector with no more than maybe half a dozen enemy in it...  To me thats no fun.

The same applies to HELP A25 under attack!!!!!   if you find yourself the lone defender and no help coming and you are just getting frustrated.. why not move to a different area of the map...

The game is one big cycle, A25 will still be there tomorro, so what if we lose it now?

man it's getting so that all you can look at is the airplanes themselves. every piece of text contains a whine or argument.

in the 3 seconds it takes to type .squelch 1 i often hear 3-5 girly-ass whines one after the other or some stupid nuh-uh, yuh-huh, nuh-uh, yuh-huh conversation between two 12 yr olds.

constant whining on ch 1 so i squelch it.....now ch 2 is almost as bad....every other thread on the bbs about some 'grave injustice'...

so what if the knights lose - the war goes on until hitech's servers finally fall silent some day. who the hell cares.....add it up over a few years and you'll see sometimes we're on and sometimes we're off....

i can't imagine being 'touched' enough by the outcome of a fake war to spend time crying about it.

try going an entire week without crying about how the war is fought, or how people fight or their acm or how unjust it all is - see if you don't feel better...

damn are you even having fun?
